Key Accountabilities
- Provide input into design and manage implementation of career development and succession planning for the UAE National workforce with the special focus on non-managerial positions.
- Manage selection process for Development program ensuring that all employees nominated meet the criteria.
- Ensure Nationals are provided with Personal Development Plans and are reviewed on regular basis with National Development and the Business.
- Build and maintain relationships with Senior Executives and Managers in order to effectively advise and coach them towards effectiveness.
- Coach employees on development opportunities/paths offered by du, and guide staff through application processes, e.g. IVN
- Liaise with Line Managers to ensure ongoing communication and feedback regarding the development progress of employees.
- Monitor performance of National Employees during the programs and offer guidance to ensure commitment to achieve.
- Manage end-to-end trainee lifecycle, including onboarding, rotations, training pathway, mentoring, performance evaluations and offboarding process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define GT role placements, learning journeys and development milestones for trainees.
- Monitor trainee progress, provide regular feedback, share regular data analytics reports, measure satisfaction levels and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Develop and execute employer branding strategies aimed at positioning the organization as an employer of choice for national talent.
- Manage participation in career fairs, open days, and university engagement events.
- Oversee and manage the communications strategies targeting national talent.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, while collaborating with them to align curricula with industry needs and future skills.
- Liaise with governmental entities on national workforce development initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of National programs in alignment with organizational and governmental mandates.
- Design and implement programs that support/enhance campus engagement activities and partnerships.
- Prepare reports and updates on projects for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor degree or equivalent In HR or related field.
- 7 -12 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role in a major public sector or private-sector organization in the region
- Experience in the field of Human Resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
