Role Summary:
- As a Marketplace Executive, you will be responsible for sales and managing daily and weekly sales performance, tracking key KPIs, and ensuring smooth reporting across multiple stores.
- You will collaborate with partners to optimize product listings, plan promotions, and enhance online assortments to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Ensuring seamless operations will be a key part of your role, working closely with internal teams to update stock and pricing while swiftly handling any operational escalations, including aggregator’s concerns.
- You will oversee stock listings on marketplace aggregator platforms, ensuring accuracy, operational efficiency, and providing ongoing support to maximize performance.
- Supporting new store launches, training store teams, and ensuring they are well-equipped to manage online operations will also be an important aspect of your role.
- You will actively participate in business reviews, analyzing sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency and growth.
- Primary Objective: To assist the Marketplace Manager in driving overall business growth on aggregator’s platforms, through optimizing the performance of the assigned brands and stores by actively participating in improving operational efficiencies, preparing and analyzing weekly KPI’s, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Analyze daily and weekly sales reports across all stores.
- Review weekly KPI reports of all partners and identify areas for improvement.
- Actively being part of weekly performance calls with the store teams.
Product & Assortment Management:
- Coordinate with partners for product listings on Online platforms.
- Work closely with store teams to understand and address their Online assortment needs.
- Regularly monitor store listings and positioning across all partner platforms.
- Identify content gaps and provide necessary updates to partners for menu enhancements.
- Timely assortment health check and perform delisting of products falling under non-commercial parameters such as ex-promotions, PO (purchase order) block, delisted, Seasonal listings.
Promotions & Marketing:
- Share weekly promotional catalogs with partners to ensure product visibility.
- Optimize online assortments for multiple platforms and execute promotional calendars.
- Cross verifying with the listing with the physical promotional booklets to identify the gaps.
- Escalate and fix the content gap with the aggregators or internally with commercial team wherever possible.
Operations & Logistics:
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., IT) for smooth stock and price file transfers via SFTP.
- Coordinate partner store visits for necessary operational preparations.
- Work with the CMD team to verify and confirm assortment details, resolving any data discrepancies.
Training & Compliance:
- Conduct on boarding and training sessions for pickers before store launches.
- Provide refresher training to ensure adherence to platform guidelines.
- Collaborate with partners to deliver training to store-level staff.
Performance & Reporting:
- Provide regular reports and actionable insights to store teams and to the reporting manager.
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to analyze key performance indicators.
- Participate or conduct weekly performance meetings with the relevant store team to highlight weekly performance.
- Participate or conduct weekly performance meetings with the partners to discuss the performance and escalations.
Issue Resolution & Customer Support:
- Handle daily operational escalations via WhatsApp groups and emails.
- Monitor assortment performance, highlighting potential out-of-stock (OOS) issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with IT, Commercial, operations, and aggregators to ensure the successful execution of strategies and initiatives across all the stores and brands.
- Work closely with the tech team to ensure stocks and prices are shared with all the partners on a regular basis through SFTP’s report and resolve any issues identified to always have seamless operations.
- Coordinate with commercial team to receive the promotional listing and liaising with the aggregators to create the content and get the item listing on the platforms.
Functional/Technical Competencies:
- Understanding the principles and practices of Marketplace management.
- Strong analytical skills to track sales performance and identify improvement areas.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI.
- Expertise in managing online product listings and optimizing assortments.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Ability to analyze sales trends and KPIs to identify improvement areas.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with partners, store teams, and internal departments.
- Works effectively across departments (IT, Commercial, Operations) to ensure smooth marketplace execution.
- Builds strong relationships with marketplace aggregators and partners to optimize performance.

Experience:
