Job Description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the UAE, specifically in interior fit-out projects, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise MEP drawings and ensuring effective coordination with architectural and interior layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).
- Review and coordinate architectural/interior design drawings for accurate MEP layouts.
- Prepare coordination drawings integrating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
- Update and revise drawings based on site conditions or consultant/engineer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with local authority standards and project specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and BOQs.
- Collaborate with project and site teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing records.
- Create as-built drawings post project completion.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in MEP drafting, especially for interior fit-out projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other MEP/BIM software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems.
- Familiar with local authority standards (e.g., DM, DEWA, Civil Defense).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
