Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Purchase Executive with at least 1 year of experience in raw material procurement within the MEP, construction, or fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will support the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials efficiently to ensure smooth project execution, maintain vendor relationships, and manage purchase documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure raw materials, tools, and equipment required for MEP, construction, or fit-out projects.
- Source reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Maintain and update purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement reports.
- Coordinate with project teams and site engineers to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse for inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and suggest improvements in procurement processes.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and selection.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role.
- Background in MEP, construction, or fit-out projects with raw material procurement exposure.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (if any).
- Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
