Job Summary : We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Finance & HR team. This role is crucial to ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our workforce across various sites in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payroll operations, particularly within the facilities management industry, and possess in-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and WPS regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process monthly payroll for staff, ensuring accuracy in salaries, deductions, overtime, and allowances.
- Manage WPS (Wages Protection System) submissions and resolve any related issues promptly.
- Validate timesheets, leave records, and attendance data in coordination with HR and operations teams.
- Calculate end-of-service benefits, gratuities, and final settlements as per UAE labor law.
- Ensure payroll compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system with confidentiality and precision.
- Generate payroll reports and summaries for internal and audit purposes.
- Address employee queries related to salary, payslips, and payroll discrepancies.
- Support internal audits and assist in reconciling payroll accounts with finance.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in the UAE, ideally within a facilities management company.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor law, WPS, and payroll regulations.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.
