Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
The role is part of Deutsche Bank Middle East COO team, who supports PB Emerging Markets by managing strategic and tactical initiatives and projects that are on top of senior management agenda to adapt the infrastructure of Deutsche Bank for better client service and improve processes. You will work on a set of projects across Middle East that range from reviewing operating models, optimizing processes, close gaps across products and platforms, comply with regulations and facilitate expanding business in new countries.

Your key responsibilities:
Support Middle-East Transformation leads in developing content across multiple projects. Activities include creating models, presentations and other documentation (incl. key operating procedures) to support the projects, re-designing processes and preparing material for approvals by internal control functions and regulators
Independently manage selected projects and workstreams both in terms of project planning, content and stakeholder coordination
Support governance of large transformation initiatives, including project plan, management of dependencies, coordination of stakeholders and preparation of updates for various senior management meetings
Monitor and track progress of different projects and workstreams, proactively identify risks, dependencies and bottlenecks and remove obstacles for project implementation in close collaboration with project leads
Work and with align several stakeholders across different functions within business, control functions, operations and IT
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the project management in the financial industry with a proven track record of lead-role in project management
Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and effectively engage in discussions with senior management. In particular, demonstrated capability to collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Information Security teams (a good understanding of regulatory requirements is needed)
Strong ability to manage stakeholders across different locations given the project will involve multiple jurisdictions (Dubai, Switzerland, Singapore, Luxembourg, UK…) and require coordination across departments to reach common ground across entities
Expertise in conceptual modelling, ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions and clear ability to provide concise, precise and managerial answers to a wide array of business related topics
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to independently develop and manage complex models. Very good command of MS Office suite is a must
Highly flexible and adaptable to manage a multi-faceted role with changing priorities and tasks that are complex, unpredictable and time-sensitive. Very hands-on and with a proactive can-do attitude
Excellent command and communication skills in English. French and/or Arabic is a plus.
