The Odoo Project Lead will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of Odoo ERP implementations and customizations. This role demands strong project management skills combined with functional and technical knowledge of the Odoo platform. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between clients, developers, and business teams to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Odoo ERP implementation across various modules like Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and more.
- Manage project scope, timeline, resources, and budget, ensuring on-time delivery within defined quality standards.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers and system architects) to design and deliver customized Odoo solutions.
- Conduct business process mapping to align customer workflows with Odoo functionalities.
- Oversee Agile project execution through sprints, stand-ups, and reviews using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Coordinate and lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring all features meet functional and business needs.
- Deliver user training sessions and create user documentation to support post-go-live adoption.
- Monitor project progress and mitigate risks or delays through proactive problem-solving and communication.
- Ensure data accuracy during system migration and go-live, collaborating with technical and QA teams.
- Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Guide and mentor functional consultants and junior team members, ensuring team productivity and growth.
- Facilitate regular internal and client meetings, presenting project status reports and managing feedback loops.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing post-implementation feedback and proposing enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo releases and features, recommending relevant upgrades or customizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP/Prince2/Agile certifications are a plus.
