We are looking for a Purchase Assistant with experience in the printing and packaging industry, or related sectors. The role involves supporting the procurement process by researching vendors, managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate new and existing suppliers.
- Request quotations and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Maintain procurement records using Tally ERP.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan appropriate delivery schedules.
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure products arrive in good condition.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP; familiarity with MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and procedures.
