Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support our procurement operations across our chain of restaurants and premium coffee shops. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience in the UAE F&B sector and a solid understanding of Foodics software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of food, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies
- Create and manage purchase orders using Foodics
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, lead times, and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
- Assist in vendor management and evaluation
- Work closely with the kitchen and operations teams to understand purchasing needs
- Help with monthly inventory and reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience in the UAE, preferably in the F&B industry
- Working knowledge of Foodics is a must
- Good understanding of restaurant and coffee shop supply needs
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting
