Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the purchasing team.
- Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Source new suppliers and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure timely procurement of products and materials as per operational needs.
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance regularly.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement procedures.
- Assist in annual budgeting and cost control initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
