- Conduct inspections and tests on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
- Supervise welding activities and ensure adherence to welding standards and safety regulations.
- Identify and report non-conformance, and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and document project activities, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Collaborate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure quality assurance processes are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Generate regular QA/QC reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage quality-related changes in scope.
- Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical.
- Experience in QA/QC inspection, preferably in erection projects or construction.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with welding standards and inspection techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
