Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, managing applicant tracking systems, and facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers. This role is essential in helping us attract top talent and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct HR sourcing activities, including talent management and executive recruiting.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Utilize social media management tools for recruitment marketing and lead generation.
- Support campus recruitment initiatives to engage with potential interns and entry-level candidates.
- Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Assist in employee orientation and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Experience
- Proven experience in recruiting or human resources, with a focus on technical recruiting preferred.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of employee evaluation techniques and employee relations practices.
- Ability to perform cold calling for candidate outreach and relationship management.
- Experience in training & development initiatives related to talent acquisition is a plus.
