Key Accountabilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:
    • Work with the team to define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for remittance solutions.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design seamless and user-friendly remittance flows.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance product features and satisfaction.
  • Product Development:
    • Work closely with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to build and launch remittance products and features.
    • Ensure on-time delivery of product updates aligned with business goals.
  • P&L Management:
    • Own the product’s P&L, tracking revenue, cost of service, and profitability metrics.
    • Develop pricing strategies, optimize exchange rates, and identify cost-saving initiatives to achieve financial targets.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure products adhere to regulatory requirements and mitigate fraud and security risks.
    • Collaborate with compliance teams to manage KYC, AML, and other regulatory processes.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization:
    • Monitor product KPIs (e.g., transaction volume, conversion rates, revenue) and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Marketing and Comms:
    • Managing marketing campaigns, coordinating with cross functional teams, measuring the campaign performance.
    • Making sure the communications is coherent and aligned with the latest updates/campaigns across all channels.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) and external partners (banks, payment processors).
    • Present updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Experience:

  • 5+ years in growth/product management, with proven experience in performance marketing, running campaigns, working on P&L, preferably in fintech, payments, or remittance.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, exchange rates, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end product lifecycles and deliver financial results.
  • Data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tools: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
