Key Accountabilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Work with the team to define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for remittance solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
- Customer Experience:
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design seamless and user-friendly remittance flows.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance product features and satisfaction.
- Product Development:
- Work closely with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to build and launch remittance products and features.
- Ensure on-time delivery of product updates aligned with business goals.
- P&L Management:
- Own the product’s P&L, tracking revenue, cost of service, and profitability metrics.
- Develop pricing strategies, optimize exchange rates, and identify cost-saving initiatives to achieve financial targets.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure products adhere to regulatory requirements and mitigate fraud and security risks.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to manage KYC, AML, and other regulatory processes.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Monitor product KPIs (e.g., transaction volume, conversion rates, revenue) and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Marketing and Comms:
- Managing marketing campaigns, coordinating with cross functional teams, measuring the campaign performance.
- Making sure the communications is coherent and aligned with the latest updates/campaigns across all channels.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) and external partners (banks, payment processors).
- Present updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience:
- 5+ years in growth/product management, with proven experience in performance marketing, running campaigns, working on P&L, preferably in fintech, payments, or remittance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, exchange rates, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end product lifecycles and deliver financial results.
- Data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Tools: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
