Job Summary:
The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling all guest inquiries, reservations, and cancellations in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to ensure a seamless booking experience. The role requires knowledge of the Opera system and strong communication skills to maintain high guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online platforms.
- Accurately enter reservation details into the Opera system.
- Update room availability and rate information in the system as required.
- Confirm and modify bookings and send confirmations to guests.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Sales team regarding group bookings and special requests.
- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with guests and internal departments.
- Assist in resolving reservation-related issues and provide alternatives when necessary.
- Ensure all reservations are handled in line with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in using the Opera reservation system.
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
