About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager (APAC)- Sales at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Responsible for meeting revenue targets across designated global accounts, market segments specifically Asian Pacific Region by executing tailored sales strategies and action plans.
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive brand alignment and market presence.
- Create and implement account development plans to maximize short- and long-term revenue, while providing insights and recommendations for sales strategy improvements.
- Actively prospect new opportunities, maintain a high-profile network, and represent the brand at key trade shows, client events, and sales trips.
- Stay updated on individual, segment, and hotel performance targets; adhere to company policies, brand standards, and hygiene and safety regulations.
- Act as a Jumeirah ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining professional appearance, and supporting internal collaboration and operational efficiency.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or MBA from an accredited university is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' sales experience, ideally within international hospitality; strong understanding of hotel operations and familiarity with HNWI, private offices, and YPO networks.
- Demonstrates strong commercial acumen, target-driven mindset, and proven success in relationship-building, account management, and negotiations.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal skills; capable of working under pressure and managing multiple projects effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Salesforce; fluent in English and Arabic or relevant local language, with additional language skills considered an asset.
