Job Title: Security Guard
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Summary: As a security guard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of people and property within your assigned area. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of vigilance, responding to security incidents, and following established procedures to prevent unauthorized access and maintain order.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveillance: Monitor the premises and keep a watchful eye for any suspicious activities or unauthorized individuals.
Access Control: Verify the identity of individuals seeking entry and ensure that only authorized personnel or visitors are allowed access.
Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to deter potential threats and ensure all areas are secure.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, including disturbances, alarms, and emergencies, and take appropriate action as per established protocols.
Report Writing: Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, including descriptions of events, individuals involved, and actions taken.
Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
Emergency Response: Act swiftly during emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or natural disasters, to ensure the safety of individuals and property.
First Aid: Administer basic first aid when necessary and coordinate with medical professionals for more serious injuries.
Security Equipment: Operate and maintain security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and communication systems.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including the laws specific to security in Dubai and the UAE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Security training and certification (SIRA Certified).
- Prior experience in security or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Good physical condition and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Knowledge of local security laws and regulations in Dubai is preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
