These activities are carried out by a highly qualified and experienced in-house team of investment professionals. The team uses an ‘Asset Allocation Matrix’ to realize risk adjusted returns on invested capital over a long-term period.
The Company’s investment activities include direct investments in startups, taking stakes in established businesses, acquisitions of business enterprises and setting-up new businesses through collaborative joint venture route.
GTI is also active in private financial investments, including private equity and debt, venture capital, real estate, and publicly listed financial investments.
Job Description
The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the Group’s growth strategy, primarily through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other inorganic initiatives. Key responsibilities include conducting market and industry research, building financial models, performing valuation analyses, preparing Investment Committee papers, and supporting transaction execution across various sectors and geographies.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Group’s portfolio companies, growth strategies, and industry dynamics.
- Support the identification and evaluation of new investment and M&A opportunities across sectors and geographies.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis including market research, financial modeling, and valuation of potential targets.
- Assist in building investment theses and prioritizing strategic initiatives for M&A and investments.
- Prepare high-quality investment papers and presentations for internal stakeholders and Investment Committee discussions.
- Support end-to-end M&A transaction execution, including due diligence coordination and timeline management.
- Assist in reviewing and negotiating transaction documents such as Non-Binding Offers and Share Purchase Agreements.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to support bolt-on acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure successful execution and alignment with Group strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelors – Finance, Economics or Engineering; MBA and/or post-grad qualifications in finance and strategy is desired
- 5+ years in M&A, corporate finance, corporate development, investment banking, or PE funds
- Financial modeling (Excel)
- Valuation (Excel)
- Clear communication and presentation (PowerPoint)
- Fast learner, analytical thinker
- Collaborative mindset and multi-project management
- Experience in cross-border or multi-sector M&A
- Familiarity with transaction documentation (e.g., SPA, SHA, etc.)
