Manage quality & packaging deviations, for the specific department products across all territories, record and communicate effectively with various department for the CAPA / faster recovery and correction of the stock with an object to minimise the loss to the maximum lowest possible.
- Develop and implement consistent packaging and structural design to ensure that the packaging meets customer expectation and reduce cost of poor quality.
- Creation of technical Specification of Packaging, document it and ensure that the packaging products meet set requirements and specifications
- Create, check and approve all Packaging Structural design (dieline, material etc.) for all our packaging
- Facilitate quality level risk assessment programs. Visit stores and warehouses for quality feedback and product checks and identify quality deviations
- Identification of Packaging Supplier across China and Indian Regions for our product ranges and implement a successful packaging procurement process.
- Have a process of Consumer / Internal customer feedback on Packaging and action the same
- Ensure to follow a clear and proper planning / research before initiating the development of any packaging. Need to spend time in visiting competition / market study for packaging development inputs
- Need to be flexible enough to create variations in structural packaging so that it differentiates the tiers of products we have within a category
- Liaising with Buying, Product Supplier and Packaging Supplier
- Checking packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions
- Problem solving on Packaging materials, design and production process
- Keeping up-to-date with technological innovations
