Role Highlights
- Lead full-cycle procurement of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and IT infrastructure for both greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
- Source critical equipment: chillers, cooling towers, generators, UPS, transformers, PDUs, racks, IBMS, cable trays, fire systems, plumbing, fuel systems, and building services.
- Drive cost savings through strategic negotiation while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
- Streamline procurement processes to reduce cycle-time using ERP and digital sourcing tools.
- Build and manage vendor relationships based on quality, delivery, and ESG performance using supplier scorecards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Operations, and EHS teams to align procurement with technical, schedule, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support DAMAC’s sustainability goals by sourcing eco-friendly materials and embedding green procurement practices.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or related; advanced degree or professional procurement certification a plus.
Minimum Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in procurement—ideally in data center infrastructure, MEP, or related engineering projects.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, cost savings, and ERP-driven process optimization within data center industry
- Strong stakeholder management skills and familiarity with regulatory and ESG frameworks.
