Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Coordinator with experience or interest in the marine industry to support our sales team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in managing customer accounts, preparing quotations, processing orders, and liaising with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the sales team in managing day-to-day operations and customer relationships.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales orders, and shipping documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing accurate information on products, pricing, and lead times.
- Liaise with procurement, logistics, and technical departments to ensure timely delivery of marine equipment, parts, and services.
- Maintain and update customer records, order details, and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management.
- Monitor and track order progress, shipping schedules, and invoicing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support the coordination of after-sales service, warranty claims, and spare parts orders when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and technical specifications relevant to the marine sector.
Requirements:
- Btech in ECE, EEE, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales coordination, preferably in the marine, shipping, or offshore industry.
- Strong understanding of marine equipment, systems, or services is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
