We are currently seeking a Shadow Master – Seafarer to support operations in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a maritime professional with a strong understanding of vessel operations, navigation support, and discreet supervision or monitoring responsibilities. The Shadow Master will play a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring smooth, secure, and compliant maritime activities, often working in coordination with ship officers, port authorities, and company operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor vessel movements discreetly to ensure compliance with company protocols and maritime regulations.
- Support shipboard crew with navigational planning, route monitoring, and voyage execution.
- Conduct real-time assessments of ship positioning, route deviation, or abnormal patterns and report to command.
- Maintain a low profile while providing operational oversight—particularly in sensitive or high-security zones.
- Act as a liaison between onshore operations and shipboard crew, ensuring timely communication and support.
- Assist in port arrival and departure coordination, clearance processes, and cargo supervision if required.
Requirements:
- Seafarer Certificate of Competency (minimum OOW – Officer of the Watch or higher preferred).
- With ADNOC or Aramco approved
- Experience in vessel navigation, watchkeeping, or operations—preferably in the UAE
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, port protocols, and shipping practices.
- Ability to work discreetly and independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and operational awareness.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
