We are looking for a dynamic and client-oriented Ship Agency Executive to join our team and represent IMGS with professionalism and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for vessel owners, charterers, and clients.
- Coordinate port calls, including vessel arrival, berthing, and departure formalities.
- Liaise with port authorities, customs, immigration, and terminal operators.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for vessel and cargo handling.
- Provide daily updates and operational reports to principals and clients.
- Address client queries and manage service delivery expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth.
- Handle financial matters related to disbursement accounts, invoices, and payments.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in ship agency, shipping operations, or port logistics.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills (verbal & written).
- Knowledge of port operations, shipping documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with shipping systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
