Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the second-in-command in the kitchen, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in daily operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, and leading the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and executing high-quality dishes
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain consistency in food preparation, presentation, and quality in line with restaurant standards
- Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards across all kitchen operations
- Contribute to menu planning, seasonal dish development, and cost control measures
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to perform at their best
- Step in and manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
