We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Stewarding Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role will oversee the upkeep and hygiene of all kitchen spaces, ensuring that equipment and utensils are thoroughly cleaned, properly stored, and maintained to meet stringent sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp attention to detail and strong leadership skills to inspire and guide their team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
In charge of the whole facility, which includes Kitchen, Stores & Offices:
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage and direct the stewarding team’s daily tasks.
- Train new team members on effective cleaning and hygiene protocols.
- Hold regular team briefings to share best practices and enhance performance.
Hygiene and Cleanliness
- Ensure all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment are sanitized and maintained to company standards.
- Supervise the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Uphold exceptional cleanliness across all kitchen and storage zones.
- All the facility area is clean.
Inventory and Equipment Oversight
- Track and manage stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Verify that cleaning tools are functional, arranging repairs when necessary.
- Liaise with Head Chef to procure essential cleaning supplies.
Waste and Recycling Management
- Oversee waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations for waste disposal.
- Coordinate timely waste removal to maintain a tidy kitchen environment.
- Grease Trap Cleaning & Maintenance.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations across all stewarding operations.
- Perform routine kitchen inspections to identify and resolve safety risks.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
- Pest control Supervision. Ensuring no pests are found in the vicinity.
Teamwork and Communication
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and catering staff to support smooth operations.
- Maintain clear communication with team members, chefs, and management to resolve any concerns promptly.
- Contribute to special events or projects as required.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
