Microsoft’s Financial Services Enterprise Account Team Unit in the UAE seeks an experienced professional with expertise in Banking, Key account management, AI business platforms, to bring fresh perspective and drive energy to the team.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will lead Microsoft’s engagement with one of the UAE’s leading banks—an account recognized globally as one of Microsoft’s top strategic customers. This role places you at the heart of digital transformation initiatives, focusing on AI, Copilot, and Security to drive impactful business outcomes. You will orchestrate a multi-disciplinary team across Microsoft’s solution portfolio, engaging senior stakeholders and fostering deep, trust-based relationships. Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic account plan and execution of Go-To-Market(GTM) for a top UAE bank, aligning Microsoft’s solutions with the customer’s business priorities.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives with a focus on AI, Copilot, Cloud, and Security, delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships, including C-suite engagement, to ensure strategic alignment and long-term partnership. Use sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy-in and execution.
- Execute consultative selling strategies to position Microsoft as a trusted advisor and maximize customer value. You will win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leader, maximizing Customer spend, Monthly consumption, achieving targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption).
- Lead and empower cross-functional account teams to deliver seamless customer experiences across the lifecycle, delivering business growth through leading and empowering account team. Collaborate across Microsoft’s internal teams and partner ecosystem to deliver integrated solutions and drive adoption.
- Navigate complex enterprise software agreements and transactional sales, ensuring compliance and value realization.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of proven experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry, with a strong understanding of sector-specific challenges, tech platforms and opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in strategic account management and consultative selling within enterprise environments and wide-portfolio organizations.
- Experience working with Abu Dhabi-based banks is a significant advantage.
- Deep expertise in structuring and negotiating large-scale software and enterprise agreements.
- Strong executive presence and ability to build and sustain C-level relationships.
- Masters degree and/or executive edcucation is a plus
- Broad technical knowledge across domains is required (Infra, Data, DevOps, Agile, banking platforms…)
- Direct hands-on experience managing key work-products (such as QBR presentations, EBC agendas, RFP responses ..etc) is essential.
- Strong skills in sales operations and pipeline management are necessary.
