- Guide students through proper swimming techniques for various strokes (e.g., freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly).
- Develop lesson plans for different age groups and skill levels, ensuring progression and incorporating drills that help improve endurance, strength, and technique.
- Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement. Adjust lessons based on individual needs and skill levels.
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and skills for the students, offering both verbal and physical cues to improve their form.
- Develop rapport with students, creating a positive, encouraging learning environment that helps students feel comfortable and supported.
- Address the specific needs of each student, adapting instruction to their learning style, age, and abilities.
- Effectively manage different skill levels within a class, ensuring each swimmer is getting the attention they need while maintaining control of the group.
- Keep students engaged and focused throughout the lesson, managing behavior in the pool and ensuring everyone follows safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- ASCA Level 2-5 Certification or Swim England Level 1-2
- Proficiency in using CRM systems for scheduling and tracking student progress.
- English language is required.
