Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) techniques and experienced in welding materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. You will be responsible for producing strong, clean, and precise welds based on technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment with precision and safety.
- Measure and inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Use hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors to complete welding assignments on time.
- Repair or modify metal structures as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Experience with both thin and thick material welding.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various positions.
- Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience (if applicable):
- Welding components for pool frames, railings, outdoor structures, or custom metal features.
- Experience with MIG welding or Stick welding is a plus.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools like shears, press brakes, and saws.
