Job Summary:
The Travel & Tourism Office Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a travel and tourism office, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality customer service, and business growth. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with travel partners, handling bookings, and maintaining financial and administrative records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the office operations of the travel & tourism agency.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Handle client inquiries, reservations, and tour bookings.
- Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
- Develop travel packages and promote tourism services.
- Monitor office budgets, sales targets, and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and tourism regulations.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide professional support.
- Prepare sales and performance reports for management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of travel booking systems (GDS, Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with regular interaction with clients, suppliers, and travel partners.
- May require occasional travel for business meetings, site visits, or tourism promotions.
