Key Responsibilities:
- Driving and Delivery: Safely and efficiently transporting products to customers using a company van, adhering to traffic laws and schedules.
- Sales and Promotion: Generating sales by interacting with customers, promoting products, and taking orders.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining product levels in the van and ensuring accurate records.
- Cash Handling: Processing payments and managing cash transactions.
- Route Optimization: Working with the sales team to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License: Essential for operating the delivery van.
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales or a related field is often preferred.
- Communication and Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact effectively with customers and build relationships.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to load and unload products, and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Basic Math Skills: For handling cash transactions.
- Clean Driving Record: Important for ensuring safe driving practices.
- Time Management and Organization: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
