Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Serving Food and Beverages: Waiters deliver orders to the table in a timely manner, ensuring that the presentation is appealing and that all items are correct. They may also serve drinks and refill beverages as needed.
- Customer Interaction: Throughout the meal, waiters check in with guests to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and respond to additional requests. This ongoing communication is vital for enhancing the dining experience.
- Handling Payments: After the meal, waiters present the bill, process payments, and handle cash or credit transactions accurately. They must ensure that all charges are correct and that guests leave satisfied.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Waiters are responsible for keeping their work area tidy, including clearing tables after guests leave and resetting them for the next customers. They also ensure that the dining area is clean and well-maintained throughout their shift.
