We are looking for a Commis to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in food and beverage preferably in the GCC. Pleasant, hospitable personality and a good command of English are a must.
- Supports directly the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in the daily operation and work.
- Takes the full responsibilities of his section when his immediate Supervisor is not there.
- Keeps working area at all times in Hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel.
- Communicates to his direct Supervisor in all relevant & important matters.
- Controls food stock.
- Attends and participates in the daily pre-shift meeting conducted by CDP or Demi Chef.
- Reports any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
- Process any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
- Participates in any Training/Development schemes as recommended by Senior Management.
- Assists the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.
- Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section.
