Overview / Responsibilities: Wood is looking for an IT Adminstrator to join our team in Dubai, UAE to perform local IT Operations services within our Project offices

  • End user hardware / software problem resolution and support
  • Hardware moves, installations and changes
  • Workstation / Laptop configurations/reconfigurations
  • Execution of basic network support functions, which may include data backup and recovery, printer/plotter/scanner installation and maintenance
  • To perform office-specific IT tasks per agreements with local office management (e.g., design diagrams, Telephony support)
  • Building and configuring computers (hardware and software), general maintenance and administrative duties, computer inventory and equipment moves
  • MS office suite of products, and a variety of specialized applications
  • Provide support to remote users via telephone and remote access software tools
  • To ensure that IT-related activities in an office are executed in accordance with wood IT policies, procedures, standards, and specifications
  • To develop and sustain a strong and active working relationships with the IT Team staff within their office(s)
  • To play a key role, as required in the execution of IT projects within their office(s) / Datacentres
Skills / Qualifications:
  • IT Operations-related certification(s) from a recognized university, college, or specialized training institution.
  • A++ Certifications and/ OR MCSE , CISCO, Vmware certification is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 , O365 applications
  • Ability to solve problems with many variables and unique situations.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize personal tasks to meet deadlines and service level objectiv
  • Ability to complete physical activities such as lifting PC’s & IT kits up to 30lbs
