We are looking for a French Executive Chef for a French Fine Dining Restaurant in Dubai

Job Requirements

Must have experience working in Michelin star restaurants in France or Dubai

Must be able to run a busy restaurant

LOCATION: Dubai, Palm Jumeirah

AVAILABILITY: Can join within 1 month - By November 2019


CANDIDATE PROFILE: Open to WESTERN , European nationals, preferably French Speaking or experience in a French Fine dining restaurant

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or a related hospitality field

  • At least 5 years of experience in Hospitality environment, preferably French Cuisine
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
  • Credentials in health and safety training
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Proven experience as head chef
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes


  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring thevariety and quality of the servings
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  • Skills Credentials in health and safety training
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Creating new dishes and menus.
  • Interviewing, hiring and training new kitchen staff.
  • Maintaining/raising the food s profit margins for restaurant.
  • Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
  • Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
  • Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
  • Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
  • Oversee preparation of food and beverage items and ensure adherence to set recipes, quality of food and beverage presentation
  • Observe size of food portions and preparation quantities to minimize waste
