Dubai A Procurement Assistant urgently wanted in a Dubai based company.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To research pricing obtaining quotes locally and internationally.

Assisting in the preparation of request for Quotation, initiations to bid, requests for proposal and co-ordination of their timely dispatch.

To assist the procurement manager in maintaining current up to date procurement documents and manuals.

Assisting with managing the administrative process throughout the duration of the preparation of the all documentation until the award of the contract.

Responsible for preparing information and statistical report to management.

To maintain appropriated records to ensure that procurement process, decision and contractual agreement are accurately documented for accountability and audit purposes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Having strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Deep knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures.

Should have experience in supplier sourcing and vendor assessments.

Having experience in Logistics will be an added advantage.

Good time management and organizational skills.
