As Resource Planning Officer, you are responsible for the short to medium term resource plans for c5000 employees. Working with the Planning Manager will develop the resourcing strategy and create operationally viable plans whilst reducing cost and inefficiency but maintaining high levels of customer service.

Responsible for the production of seasonal resource plans including Rosters, Working Patterns, resource profiles, headcount requirement and information to drive training and recruitment requirements to achieve or improve on agreed cost basis in line with Budget or Forecasts & supporting the budget creation process.

Responsible for the management of the Time & Attendance system and the staff associated to ensure timely and accurate reporting of hours/leave & absence to payroll & the approver of the pay query process engaging directly with the payroll team.

Responsible for ensuring flight volume and resource demand is constantly updated and any changes to the plan are communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure best practice planning processes are adopted and implemented in line with UAE Working regulations and considering any Health and Safety implications.

Responsible for the Creation of the Daily plan through Pre-Planning phase in RMS including the pre-allocation to ensure task coverage and sufficient operational coverage.

Responsible for the issue of staff Annual Leave Tickets & Annual Leave bidding process. liaising with Staff Travel to make the relevant bookings.

Ensure that all quality, safety and security occurrences, errors, hazards, near misses are reported through the established reporting system. Ensure hazards and risks are identified, assessed, escalated to higher management (as applicable) and mitigated or eliminated

Education & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline/ground/cargo handling/airport services with at least 3 years in a resource planning role.

Proven experience of implementing and managing best practice planning methodology in a complex & dynamic service industry.

Proven experience of managing change to improve efficiency & reducing cost while maintaining service delivery.

Ability to understand, analyze and present data in a manner that it can be understood by all stakeholders .

Advcanced MS Excel Skills ability Analyse data, VLookups, Pivot, charts etc
