SR. PURCHASER

Al Reaya - Al-Ayn

Duties/Responsibilities:

·Acts as the company’s representative in negotiations with suppliers.

·Purchases goods and services according to the company’s policies and procedures.

·Explains and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management.

·Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.

·Evaluates conditions for issuing and awarding bids.

-Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.

·Works with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts, and other available discounts.

·Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.

·Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels.

·Assesses available material/stocks; predicts future availability based on the market, delivery processes etc.

·Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.

·Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate person.

·Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for supplies.

·Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.

·Resolves grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers in coordination with management.

·Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems

-Maintains files and records of materials.

·Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus materials.

·Prepares reports as required and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in related field required

-At least 5 yrs. experience as purchasing executive

·Knowledge and understanding of materials and supplies used in the F & B industry including F & B systems and procedure in purchasing

-Knowledgeable with MSWord, Excel and Outlook

·Excellent negotiation skills; verbal and written communication skills

·Excellent time management skills with a ability to meet deadlines.

·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
