DubaiJob Summary: Looking for a Safety Officer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:
Provide support to the development of HSE policies as well as programs
Carry out risk assessment and implement preventative measures
Assess existing policies
Check the premises and the work of personnel to determine issues at the site
Assist in organizing HSE training for employees
Carry out risk assessment and implement preventative measures
Monitor the installations, maintenance as well as disposal of substances
Generate reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
Document and conduct investigations on incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims

Job Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors Degree in Safety Management or any other related field of study
At least 5+ years of UAE experience required for the right candidate
Familiarity with hazardous materials or practices in the construction field
Strong knowledge of legislation and procedures
Good organizational skills
Knowledge in preparing reports and policies for health as well as safety
Must be computer literate
