Job Title: Accountant & E-commerce Assistant
Location: Dubai, UAE - Full-time | 6 Days a Week
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in accounting and a keen interest in e-commerce. The ideal candidate will play a dual role: managing our financial records and assisting with e-commerce operations on platforms like Amazon and Noon. While accounting expertise is a must, we’re happy to train the right candidate in e-commerce workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Record and reconcile daily transactions
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheets)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and reconciliations
- Handle VAT entries, filings, and ensure FTA compliance
- Maintain accurate Zoho Books/Inventory records
- Support financial audits and year-end processes
E-commerce Support:
- Assist with product listings, order processing, and pricing updates
- Monitor FBA/FBM inventory levels on Amazon and Noon
- Coordinate shipments, returns, and customer support as needed
- Prepare basic sales performance and profitability reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting
- Experience in the UAE is big plus
- Working knowledge of Zoho Books/Inventory is a strong plus
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn e-commerce tools and platforms (Amazon, Noon, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting
- Good communication skills in English (Hindi is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Preferred Skills (not mandatory):
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Noon Seller Hub
- Prior work in FMCG, distribution, or trading companies
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and bookkeeping practices
