Job Purpose
This hybrid role combines financial accounting responsibilities with government liaison and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with a solid grasp of accounting practices and UAE labor and immigration procedures. You will help ensure operational excellence and compliance across both financial and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations, AML and tax compliance.
- Support audits, reporting, and provide data-driven insights for management.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold strong internal controls.
Public Relations & Administration
- Process visa applications, renewals, cancellations, Emirates ID, and medical tests.
- Liaise with government entities (MOHRE, Immigration, Municipality, DED, Civil Defense).
- Prepare and submit accurate PR and compliance documents on time.
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, employee documentation, and labor contracts.
- Renew trade licenses, tenancy agreements, and insurance policies.
- Monitor attendance and resolve staff-related issues professionally.
- Stay current on UAE labor laws and regulatory updates.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years’ UAE experience in a combined Accounting + PRO role.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor law, visa processes, and PR duties.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, or similar).
- Fluent in English.
- High attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and deadline-oriented.
