Petopia is Abu Dhabi’s largest mobile pet grooming provider and a trusted destination for high-quality grooming, wellness, and pet supplies. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Admin & Accounting Officer to support and streamline our growing operations. Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting:
- Record daily sales and expense transactions (POS, Stripe, card machines).
- Prepare profit & loss, cash flow, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee loan/repayment schedules.
- Manage payroll, attendance, and leave tracking.
- Coordinate commission calculations and salary disbursements.
- Prepare data for VAT submissions and work with external auditors.
Procurement & Inventory:
- Oversee purchasing across all departments (products, supplies, grooming).
- Negotiate with vendors and monitor pricing and payment terms.
- Implement and enforce purchase approval workflows.
- Monitor stock levels, product movements, and wastage.
- Provide inventory and sales insights to support promotions and planning.
Operations & ERP Support:
- Support and improve business workflows through ERP.
- Coordinate internal reporting and staff performance tracking.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and document control.
- Assist in developing systems that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance (retail/service sector preferred).
- Hands-on understanding of inventory and purchasing workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and coordinate with team members across departments.
- High integrity, ownership mindset, and attention to detail.
- Accounting certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
