We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to manage our company’s financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Process payments, verify transactions, and ensure timely settlements
- Support external and internal audits
- Maintain accurate documentation for all financial transactions
- Assist with payroll and employee reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
