Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer
Location: The Warehouse Gym, UAE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED 4,500 – 5,000 per month
Overview:
The Warehouse Gym is a leading organization in the fitness industry, committed to delivering exceptional services while upholding the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a meticulous and motivated Accounts Payable Officer, preferably with a background in the fitness or food & beverage (F&B) industry, to join our finance team and contribute to managing and streamlining our accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and maintain an up-to-date accounts payable ledger.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any payment-related issues.
- Prepare, process, and record payments with proper documentation.
- Reconcile accounts payable with the general ledger and generate relevant reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA are an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices (particularly in fitness or F&B) is a plus.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Previous experience in the fitness or F&B industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero (certified), SAP, or QuickBooks.
- Hands-on experience in handling high volumes of invoices and managing vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
