Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to manage the full cycle of accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AR processes, preferably within the healthcare sector, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role is critical in ensuring timely collections, accurate customer billing, and efficient financial operations for our Abu Dhabi office.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices and account statements.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
- Record and post customer receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to address and resolve billing queries.
- Maintain up-to-date records of receivables and customer interactions.
General Accounting Support:
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Support the preparation of AR-related financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements in the AR function.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking related to receivables.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with medical billing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is an advantage.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
