About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced, committed, and passionate faculty member to join our team and teach subjects under Tourism and Hospitality Management. This advanced qualification provides professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry with the specialist knowledge needed to progress in their careers or transition into management roles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tourism and hospitality management, as well as experience in teaching and assessing learners at the postgraduate level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures, key subjects such as Strategic Management and Marketing, Destination Management, Digital Tourism, and Organisational Behaviour.
- Develop and review curriculum content, teaching materials, and assessments in alignment with OTHM’s academic standards.
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback based on OTHM criteria.
- Conduct research to stay updated on the latest industry trends and contribute to the development of new course content and teaching strategies.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of a Level 6 qualification in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management or a related area is preferred.
- Experience teaching at the postgraduate level (Level 7) and familiarity with OTHM standards.
- In-depth knowledge of tourism and hospitality management, including strategic planning, marketing, and sustainable practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students and foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Strong ability to manage teaching schedules, assignments, and assessments in a timely and efficient manner.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: AED250.00 - AED500.00 per hour
