Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and approve Lifting Plans and Method Statements for all lifting operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure Permit to Work (PTW) compliance.
- Coordinate with lifting supervisors, riggers, crane operators, and site managers to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Ensure that all lifting equipment is certified, inspected, and fit for purpose.
- Verify the competency and certification of all personnel involved in lifting activities.
- Attend pre-lift meetings and ensure effective communication of lifting plans to all involved parties.
- Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards and procedures.
- Stop any unsafe lifting operations and take corrective action as needed.
- Liaise with ADNOC inspectors and third-party auditors for lifting-related inspections.
- Maintain lifting documentation and records as per ADNOC audit requirements.
Requirements:
- ADNOC approval as Appointed Person (valid certificate).
- Diploma or technical qualification in engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations in oil & gas or heavy industry.
- Certified training in Appointed Person Lifting Operations (BS 7121 or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, HSE practices, and lifting equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and developing lifting plans and rigging studies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
