Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Interpret architectural sketches, notes, and specifications to develop accurate technical plans.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes.
- Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate design changes and client feedback.
- Maintain organized drawing files and document versions.
- Assist in preparing presentation drawings and 3D models when required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.
- Participate in site visits to gather measurements or resolve technical discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a draftsman in an architectural or construction environment.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.
- Strong understanding of architectural standards, detailing, and construction methods.
- Ability to interpret sketches, hand-drawn notes, and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
