Architectural Draftsman (High-Rise Buildings)
Location: Al Kifaf, Dubai, UAE.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and documentation of high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting skills, a thorough understanding of architectural design principles, and a working knowledge of interior design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD and other relevant software (e.g., Revit).
- Develop 3D models of building components and assemblies using BIM software (e.g., Revit).
- Assist in the development of interior design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layouts.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure design consistency and constructability.
- Prepare presentation drawings and 3D visualizations for client presentations.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and verify design details.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in architectural design and drafting.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural drafting and design, with a strong focus on high-rise building projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software (e.g., Revit).
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methodologies.
- Working knowledge of interior design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layout.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in Dubai (preferred).
