Role Description:
The Concrete Flooring Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete flooring projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all phases of concrete flooring projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Supervise and direct on-site crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to project requirements and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other team members.
- Manage project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and material/equipment inventory.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality control, and environmental compliance.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 Years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on flooring.
- Proven track record of successfully managing concrete flooring projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes governing construction safety and quality.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is a plus.
