Job Description:
VX Studio Consultancy is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Architectural / Finishing Inspector to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections of architectural and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, materials, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect architectural and finishing works on-site to ensure alignment with design specifications and quality benchmarks
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to approved materials and methods
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
- Identify and report any non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and the project team
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly inspection and progress reports
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards and regulations on-site
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural/finishing inspection, with a strong background in high-rise projects
- Previous experience working with a consultancy is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of finishing materials, detailing, and quality control procedures
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and standards is an advantage
